A LOOP-LOC swimming pool safety cover is made of a fine mesh polypropylene that allows rainwater and snow melt to pass slowly through. Before putting the cover on for the winter, the pool water level is lowered 12-18 inches to allow for winter precipitation. The tightly woven nearly indestructible fabric keeps out all but the very finest dust. The straps have double thick 1" wide polypropylene webbing, reinforcement around the entire perimeter, not just in the corners. Full "X" tacking on both sides where any strap or webbing meet. No cotton fillers are used in the webbing as cotton, wool, or other natural fibers absorb water and become brittle and break. The Loop-Loc uses solid polypropylene 3/16" thick chafing strips, a full one-inch wide, where it crosses the pool's edge to protect the cover from wear on the coping. All covers have tubular vinyl spring covers, which completely encase the spring, to prevent scrapes to the deck and snags when the cover is stored. The Loop-Loc is designed to hold taut to the exact shape of the pool with stainless steel springs and solid brass anchors which screw down flush to deck level when the cover is not in use.
Stainless steel springs hold the cover taut. Brass anchors disappear flush with the deck when the cover is removed. The springs snap on the anchors in a few minutes time to secure the pool. Easy enough for daily use. Cover can be removed only with a Loop-Loc custom installation tool, so it's tamper-proof. All components are non-corrosive. Only Loop-Loc offers SAFEDGE, a child safety intrusion barrier that meets raised walls, rocks or steps. Another exclusive GAP GUARD closes gaps caused by varying levels.	Water doesn't collect on surface, making the area safer for both children and pets. The surface stays dry so dirt, leaves, and debris blow away. Loop-Loc stays mess-free and beautiful to look at with no pumping, leaf removal, or bag replacement. The mesh is lightweight (5 lbs per 100 sq ft) and has a minimum breakstrength of 600 lbs per sq inch. Because it's lightweight, it's easy to put on and remove daily to retain heat, keep pool safe and clean all year. Blends into your landscape in Green, Black, Blue, or Gray colored covers.
